Mind and Body Wellness
There is an intricate connection between the mind, body, and nervous system. Throughout my work with clients, I've been continually struck by how often emotional experiences are reflected physically—through tension, restlessness, fatigue, shallow breathing, or a persistent sense of feeling overwhelmed. It can be difficult to recognize how life's experiences influence our nervous system and shape the way we think, feel, relate to others, and move through the world. Wanting to help clients engage with this connection in a more tangible way led me to thoughtfully integrate yoga into my clinical work. When appropriate, I use yoga as a tool to support nervous system regulation, helping clients reconnect with their bodies and complement the insight gained through therapy.
